Pronexi is operated by Emma Infotech Pty Ltd (ABN 16 644 105 368). This policy explains how Pronexi collects, uses, stores, and shares information for the Pronexi website, web app, and mobile apps.
1. Who We Are
In this Privacy Policy, “Pronexi”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Emma Infotech Pty Ltd, the owner and operator of Pronexi. Pronexi provides live digital business cards, event networking, contact management, notes, reminders, and opportunity signals.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Pronexi, we may collect:
- Account information such as name, email address, authentication identifiers, and profile details.
- Digital card information such as profile name, role, company, contact details, social links, photos, logos, and card styling choices.
- Contact and relationship information such as saved contacts, connection requests, shared cards, contact source, tags, notes, reminders, follow-up history, and contact opportunity signals.
- Event information such as event title, description, date, time, location, host card, event link, attendee records, invitations, RSVP state, and QR or public event links.
- Device contacts if you choose to import or sync contacts from your device. We only access contacts after you grant permission through your device or browser.
- Usage, device, and log information such as IP address, device type, browser type, app version, pages or screens used, crash information, and diagnostic logs.
- Billing and subscription information such as plan status, trial status, Stripe customer or subscription identifiers, and payment status. We do not store full credit card numbers.
- Communications you send to us, including support requests and feedback.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- create and manage your Pronexi account;
- create, display, share, and update digital cards;
- support contact connections, imported contacts, notes, tags, reminders, and follow-ups;
- create, manage, and share events, event invitations, attendee lists, and event QR codes;
- identify relationship opportunities, such as role, company, or location changes in contacts connected to you;
- provide Pro trials, subscriptions, billing, and account administration;
- protect Pronexi against misuse, fraud, spam, and unauthorised access;
- improve product quality, performance, reliability, and user experience;
- send service messages, security notices, reminders, and product updates; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. Sharing and Visibility
Pronexi is built around intentional sharing. When you share a card, join an event, send a connection request, or accept a request, some profile, card, event, and contact information may become visible to the relevant recipient, host, attendee, or connected user.
Public card links and public event links are designed to be opened by people who receive the link or scan the QR code. Do not include information in a public card or event that you do not want recipients to see.
5. Service Providers
We may use trusted service providers to operate Pronexi, including cloud hosting, database, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, payment processing, email, support, and security providers. These providers may process information on our behalf only for the purposes of delivering and improving Pronexi.
Current core infrastructure may include Firebase/Google Cloud for app hosting, authentication, database, storage, and functions, and Stripe for payments and subscription management.
6. Overseas Disclosure
Some service providers may store or process information outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to use providers with appropriate privacy, security, and contractual safeguards.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide Pronexi, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security. If you delete content or close your account, some information may remain in backups, logs, audit records, or records required by law for a limited period.
9. Your Choices
You can update many account, card, contact, event, note, reminder, and tag details inside Pronexi. You can also control device permissions, including contact access, through your device or browser settings.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before actioning a request.
10. Children
Pronexi is intended for professional and business networking use and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
